CFVI & Carnival Cruise Line Unveiled Revitalized Play Facilities at Griffith Park on April 16, 2019

Thanks to a collaborative partnership between Carnival Cruise Line, the Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation (VISPR), the Department of Tourism, and CFVI, Griffith Park now has new playground surfacing; new equipment for children ages 6 months to 12 years of age (including accessible harness swings for children with physical and developmental limitations); a new gathering gazebo with picnic tables and benches; a resurfaced basketball court; and repainted walls and field dugouts. On Tuesday, April 16, 2019 members of the community joined CFVI for an “Afternoon of Play” during the unveiling of the revitalized playground and basketball court at Emile Griffith Park in St. Thomas. Festivities included music, refreshments, and face painting!
