2018 Academic Scholarships

CFVI is pleased to announce that the 2018 academic scholarship applications for graduate, undergraduate, and vocational students are now available.

Students that were displaced by Hurricanes Irma and Maria are required to complete a separate undergraduate scholarship application form.

New applicants must create an account with Fluid Review (https://cfvi.fluidreview.com/) to begin the application process. A confirmation email will be sent to the email address that was used to create the account. Once confirmed, applicants will have access to the application portal. Returning applicants can use the same log-in information that was used the previous year.

Application Submission Deadline: April 6,2018 | 11:59 pm.

Please read the checklist below to ensure that you have prepared all required documents to be submitted with your application form.

Applicant Checklist: (Graduate and Undergraduate students)

  1. 2018 Undergraduate Scholarship Application Form | 2018 Graduate Scholarship Application Form
  2. (2) Letters of Recommendation

CFVI provides applicants with the option of manually uploading recommendation letters to their profile or submitting a request via fluid review to their recommenders.

  1. Resume (Optional)
  2. Transcript with Current GPA

Students are required to upload their most recent transcript. Unofficial transcripts are accepted.

  1. EFC Score from FAFSA form
  2. A statement that explains the student’s current financial status (Optional)

Many of our students within the Territory were greatly affected by the aftermath of Hurricanes Irma and Maria. This optional task allows students to provide a statement that will further explain how the storms may have negatively impacted their enrollment status/financial aid package.

  1. College Acceptance Letter

Students are required to upload acceptance letters from the school of their choice. If students are already enrolled at an institution, the transcript is sufficient and there is no need to upload the acceptance letter. For students that have not yet received acceptance letters, should upload a document explaining that it has not yet been received. This information can be updated at a later date.

  1. First two pages of most recent stamped tax return

Students that are listed as dependents should upload their parent’s stamped tax return.

  1. Submit!

Please be sure to click the submit button once the application has been completed. Applications will not be received if it has not been submitted.
