CFVI celebrates $197,000 grant to Juan Luis Hospital and Medical Center for the acquisition of NICU equipment

On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, CFVI President Dee Baecher-Brown joined Juan F. Luis Hospital and Medical Center in unveiling much-needed equipment for the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), purchased through a grant of $197,000 from the Fund for the Virgin Islands (FFVI) at CFVI. The staff of the NICU were overjoyed with gratitude to the Foundation for aiding in making this contribution possible. The impact these beds make is crucial for the support of newborns within the framework of family-centered care.
