CFVI awarded a grant to Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts, with funding from the Popular VI Community Fund, to deliver impactful educational and community arts programs, benefiting 283 youth and teens. Key initiatives included a yoga and art series focused on mindfulness and self-care techniques, spoken word workshops and contests that empowered teens to express themselves creatively, a dynamic theater program that fostered confidence and communication skills, and a film project addressing gun violence through storytelling. These programs provided participants with essential skills and platforms for self-expression, creating lasting community benefits.
This project represents CMCArts' commitment to fostering creativity, well-being, and meaningful community engagement. With continued support, CMCArts aims to sustain and expand these dynamic initiatives, ensuring lasting access to the transformative power of the arts.
