CFVI is accepting proposals for projects and programs related to aspects of continued environmental recovery, resilience, and building forward for the USVI following the 2017 hurricanes. Specifically, projects engaged in the following categories are requested: (1) Workforce Development; (2) Housing; and (3) Environmental/Marine.
Due to specifications of the funding source, projects involving or benefiting minors (youth under age 18) will not be considered.
To be eligible, applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or must identify an eligible fiduciary agent. Proposals from faith-based organizations, academic institutions, and government agencies will also be considered.
Projects should last no longer than 6 months, with a final report and quarterly progress metrics required. Funding for these projects is based on monthly disbursements, which vary in amount. There is no cap on the amount that proposals may request; however, we suggest project budgets of no more than $50,000. Proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
This opportunity is made possible thanks to funding from the Island Spirit Fund, established by Cruzan® Rum in partnership with GlobalGiving.
Submit your proposal here under “Island Spirit Fund Projects”: https://cfvi.co/CFVIGrantsPortal
Questions should be sent to CFVI Director of Grants & Programs, Anna Wheatley Scarbriel: annas@cfvi.net.
