U.S. Virgin Islands educators met in St. Croix for a professional development workshop about changing how history is taught in the classroom by making it more personal. The program was funded through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, in partnership with the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands. It was presented in collaboration with the Caribbean Genealogy Library and the Virgin Islands Department of Education.
